September 15, 2026 has been fixed as the last date to clear scholarship applications still pending on the MahaDBT Scholarship Portal in Chandrapur district. The information was given by the Assistant Commissioner of the Social Welfare Department. The portal will remain active for students and colleges in the district till then.

The deadline applies to pending applications from the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. The department has clarified that errors must be corrected within this time, failing which the Social Welfare Department will not be responsible once the deadline passes.

According to the Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, the MahaDBT 1.0 portal will remain open till September 15, 2026 to clear pending applications for the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. Principals of educational institutions in the district, along with students and parents, have been urged to complete the necessary action on pending applications on the portal within the stipulated time.

For applications stuck at the college login stage on the MahaDBT 1.0 portal, student-level errors need to be corrected and the application resubmitted for processing. Where an application is pending at the college level, the concerned colleges must complete the required verification and action and submit the application for further processing.

Students whose applications are stuck, along with their parents, have been asked to immediately correct any deficiency in the application and submit it before September 15. If the application is not submitted within the stipulated time and remains pending, the responsibility will lie with the concerned student and their parents. The department has also made clear that the Social Welfare Department will not be accountable in such cases.

Meanwhile, new applications and registrations of new applicants for the academic year 2026-27 will be accepted on the MahaDBT 2.0 portal. Students have therefore been asked to keep their personal and academic information, as well as their profile, updated on the portal from time to time.

The Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, reiterated the appeal that students, parents and the concerned colleges make use of this final window to clear pending applications from earlier academic years on the MahaDBT 1.0 portal and complete the necessary action by September 15, 2026.
