WHO WE ARE
The paper, the desk that makes it, and the people to write to. What is printed below the prose is read off this paper's own system as the page loads, so it is what is true today rather than what was true when this was written.

The paper
PT24 is a city paper for Nagpur and Vidarbha, published by Prime Time 24 Media Network. It is free to read, there is no paywall and no subscription, and there is no account to open: nothing on this site asks you who you are before it will show you the news.
It publishes in Hindi, Marathi and English. The same story is filed in each language the edition publishes, and where a translation does not exist yet the page says which language you are being shown instead.
What the desk makes
Eight things, and each of them is a standing commitment rather than a section that exists when somebody has time.
- The news
- The front, the city, the subjects and the archive.
- PT24 Daily
- The 07:00 paper. The day's news, frozen once, at a fixed hour.
- PT24 Live
- A running account while something is still happening.
- PT24 Nukkad
- Reported from a street corner rather than from a press note.
- PT24 Sawaal
- A question put to the city, and what the city answered.
- The editorial
- The chief editor's signed column, over his own name.
- PT24 Awaaz
- Readers' own pieces, edited and published under the writer's name.
- The morning mail
- The 07:00 paper by email, for readers who would rather it came to them.
Where the reporting comes from
Most of what PT24 carries today is filed by local publications and agencies, checked and rewritten at this desk and published over a PT24 desk byline. The editorial charter says how that is handled and what you can ask of us about it.
Where to send what
The desk named on a story is the first address for anything about that story, and it is printed on every one of them.
- A correction
- The desk on the story, or the corrections page.
- A story you think we should have
- Send us a story.
- Your own piece
- PT24 Awaaz.
- Advertising
- Advertise with us.
- A complaint
- The grievance officer.
What is not on this page yet
The full masthead, meaning every editor and reporter and who reports to whom, is not published here yet. It should be, and it will be at this address. Who owns the paper and how it is funded is on the ownership page.
