TERMS OF USE
The terms you read this site under. What you may do with what we publish, what we promise about it and what we do not, and what happens when we get something wrong.
Last updated 11 September 2026
Who publishes this
PT24 is published by Prime Time 24 Media Network. Reading this site means these terms hold between you and it. If you do not accept them, the remedy is to stop reading, and nothing here asks you to agree to anything else.
What you may do with what we publish
Read it, print it for yourself, and send it to anyone. Quote it, with the headline, PT24 named and a link to the page you took it from. Link to any page here without asking; a link needs nobody's permission and we will not be the publisher that pretends otherwise.
Ask us first before you republish a whole story or a photograph, put our work behind your own advertising or subscription, train a model on a bulk copy of this site, or fetch pages fast enough to cost other readers theirs.
Where a story, a photograph or a piece of video came from an agency or another publication, that source is named on it. Their terms govern their work, not ours, and our permission is not ours to give for it.
What you send us
You keep what you wrote. Sending a piece to PT24 Awaaz gives us permission to edit it for language, length and law, to publish it on PT24 under the name you chose, and to keep it published. It does not make it ours.
You confirm the piece is your own work, that it is true as far as you know, and that anyone identifiable in a photograph you attach has agreed to be in it. You can ask us to take a published piece down; we will, unless there is a legal reason on the record for keeping it, and then we tell you which reason.
We edit for language, length and law, never for meaning. If something substantial has to change we ask you before it does.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise to correct what we get wrong, and to print the correction on the story it belongs to, carrying the date it was logged rather than the date of the story.
We do not promise the site is always reachable, that every page is free of error, or that a page that was right when it was published is still right today. Nothing here is legal, medical or financial advice. A civic notice reprinted here is a report of it and never a substitute for the authority's own.
A link to another site is a link and not an endorsement, and what is on the other end of it belongs to whoever put it there.
Advertising
Advertisements are marked as advertisements. The desk decides what is published and an advertiser does not, on any page, ever. What an advertisement claims is the advertiser's claim and not ours.
Corrections and complaints
A correction is best asked for from the desk named on the story, which is printed on every one. A complaint about anything on this site goes to the grievance officer named at the foot of this page, who acknowledges it within 24 hours and decides it within 15 days, as rule 11 of the Information Technology Rules 2021 requires.
Using the site fairly
Do not try to break into it, flood it, or use a door on it to send anybody something they did not ask for. We may refuse a connection that does, and the throttles that do it count requests and never readers.
The law that applies
These terms are read under the law of India, and a dispute arising from them goes to the courts with jurisdiction over the registered office of Prime Time 24 Media Network.
When these change
This page is dated at the top. Reading the site after a change means the changed terms apply to your reading; a change is never applied backwards to something you have already sent us.
