IND vs AFG: Reddy shines with the ball, India need 160 to win series

The second match of the T20 series between India and Afghanistan is being played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. India won the toss and the captain opted to bowl first. Afghanistan's innings began with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran opening the batting.

India got their first breakthrough during the powerplay itself, when Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Gurbaz for a duck. After Gurbaz's dismissal, Sediqullah Atal came in to bat. Captain Ibrahim Zadran anchored the innings and was dismissed after playing a crucial knock of 37 runs. Sediqullah Atal also could not stay long and returned to the pavilion after scoring 12 runs. Gulbadin Naib then came to the crease and was dismissed for 10 runs. Darwish Rasooli played an innings of 26 runs, while Azmatullah Omarzai was dismissed for 11 runs. Afghanistan lost 8 wickets during their innings.

On the Indian bowling side, Ravi Bishnoi gave the team its first breakthrough by dismissing Gurbaz, and later also took the wicket of captain Ibrahim Zadran at 37 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy dismissed Gulbadin Naib and bowled impressively through the match, taking three important wickets in all. Besides them, Axar Patel also took a wicket, and Jasprit Bumrah also picked up one wicket.

Afghanistan batted out their full 20 overs and have set India a target of 160 runs to win.
