NCRTC recruitment for 67 supervisor, junior maintainer posts, apply by October 9

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation, or NCRTC, has announced direct recruitment for 67 posts of Supervisor-1 and Junior Maintainer on the Namo Bharat project. Eligible candidates can apply through the NCRTC official website. The last date to apply is October 9, 2026. The recruitment is open to candidates who have passed engineering or ITI courses.

The Supervisor-1 posts cover various technical fields including operations, electronics, electrical, mechanical and civil. The Junior Maintainer posts are open in the electrical, fitter, refrigeration and air conditioning, and electronics trades. Candidates can apply for the post they are eligible for based on their educational or technical qualification.

There are 2 posts for Supervisor-1 (Operations), which require an engineering degree or a full-time engineering diploma from a recognised university or institution. Supervisor-1 (Electronics) has 18 posts, Electrical has 14, Mechanical has 3 and Civil has 6. These posts require a three-year full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline or an equivalent qualification.

There are 24 Junior Maintainer posts in total, including 8 in the electrical trade, 9 in fitter, 5 in refrigeration and air conditioning, and 2 in electronics. Candidates for these posts must hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or an equivalent qualification.

The maximum age for candidates applying for both Supervisor-1 and Junior Maintainer posts is 28 years. Candidates from reserved categories will get age relaxation as per government rules. Candidates in the General, OBC, EWS and ex-servicemen categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, plus GST. Candidates from the SC, ST and persons with disabilities categories are exempt from the application fee.

Selection will be based on a computer-based test followed by a medical examination. The computer-based test will be of 100 marks and will be conducted in both Hindi and English. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. General and OBC non-creamy layer candidates must score at least 60 percent to pass, while the minimum passing marks for SC, ST, persons with disabilities and ex-servicemen candidates is 50 percent. Candidates who pass the exam will have to undergo a medical examination.

Candidates selected for Supervisor-1 will get a pay scale of Rs 37,000 to Rs 1,15,000, with a starting basic salary of Rs 37,000. The pay scale for Junior Maintainer is Rs 18,250 to Rs 59,200, with a starting basic salary of Rs 18,250. Selected staff will also be eligible for dearness allowance, house rent allowance and other benefits as per NCRTC rules.
