Chandrapur job mega fair on Sept 29, 192 posts at 15 centres
Thirty five companies will interview candidates for 192 posts at 15 centres across Chandrapur district on September 29.
Educated unemployed youth in Chandrapur district have a big opportunity ahead. The Skill Development and Employment Centre is organising a major job mega fair on September 29.
At the fair, 35 companies will directly interview candidates and recruit for 192 posts. Gomati Pachbhai, president of the local Lokadhikar Sena, has been appointed the mobilising partner for the entire event.
The Maharashtra government's Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, Chandrapur, is organising the "Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rojgar Mahakumbh" on September 29, 2026. The event's slogan is "Yuvashakti hi Rashtrashakti hai" (youth power is national power). Gomati Sharda Manohar Pachbhai, president of the Chandrapur-Gadchiroli local Lokadhikar Sena, has been officially appointed as the public awareness and registration partner for the fair. The official letter for this was issued by Mrs A. L. Tadvi, assistant commissioner of the district Skill Development Centre.
Under this responsibility, the local Lokadhikar Sena, led by Gomati Pachbhai, has been tasked with spreading this information to job-seeking young men and women across all tehsils of the district, getting them registered free of cost, and encouraging them to take part in the fair. The job mega fair is getting a very good response from across the district. So far 35 companies have registered for the 192 vacant posts, and through social media and various centres, 2,757 candidates have successfully completed their registration so far.
To give educated unemployed youth of the district a chance to interview in their own area, the job fair and placement drive is being held simultaneously at 15 centres. These include technical institutes such as CIPET Tadali in Chandrapur, Ballarpur Institute of Technology, Government ITI Warora, Government ITI Saoli, Sai Private ITI Bhadrawati, Rashtriya Private ITI Rajura and Maharashtra Institute of Polytechnic Brahmapuri. Also among the 15 centres are Chintamani College in Gondpipri, Chintamani Science College in Pombhurna, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj College in Chimur, Vidarbha College in Jiwati, Mahatma Gandhi Science College at Gadchandur in Korpana tehsil, Karmaveer College in Mul, Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi College in Nagbhid, and Sarvodaya College in Sindewahi, where the recruitment process will be held.
After the appointment, Gomati Pachbhai said the main aim of Lokadhikar Sena is to secure rightful employment for the district's young men and women in their own area. She said educated unemployed youth across all parts of Chandrapur district should complete their registration without delay to take advantage of this opportunity from the Maharashtra government, and should be present in large numbers at the mega fair on September 29.
