The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has begun preparations for the 2027 board examinations. As part of this, the board has sent an important notice and warning to all schools affiliated with it across the country. CBSE has clearly stated that schools must thoroughly and carefully check the subjects chosen by students and their personal details before sending this information to the board.

CBSE has said that even a small error in a student's name, date of birth, parents' name, subject name or subject code can become a major obstacle later in the examination process, and can even hold up the student's admission.

CBSE has written to school principals and heads informing them that despite repeated instructions, errors continue to be found in student data. Some schools do not send information on time, while others fill in incorrect details. After incorrect information is filled in, schools have to apply to get it corrected, which takes up the board's time and causes unnecessary delays in exam planning. This is why CBSE has directed all schools to submit the List of Candidates, LOC, and other required details within the fixed deadline.

According to CBSE officials, some important processes related to the 2027 examination will begin soon. Online registration will take place for students of classes 9 and 11, while the final list of candidates, the LOC, will have to be submitted for students of classes 10 and 12. In view of this, the board has appealed to schools to keep accurate information for every student ready in advance.

CBSE has suggested that schools should check in advance the student's full name and its spelling, date of birth, gender and category, the name of the parents or guardian, the subjects chosen by the student and their correct subject codes, as well as the photo and signature as per the format.

CBSE's main objective is for the 2027 board examination to be conducted smoothly and for results to be declared on time. For this, proper coordination between schools and the board is necessary. CBSE has given schools a clear message that instead of making mistakes in a hurry while filling in information, every detail should be carefully checked before being uploaded.
