Royal Enfield has given adventure touring bike buyers another option with the Himalayan 440 in its Himalayan series. The bike has an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.29 lakh and builds on the earlier Himalayan 411 concept with a new 443cc engine. Since its recent launch, the Himalayan 440 has once again drawn attention in the adventure bike segment.

The Himalayan 440 comes with the LS440 engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The company has emphasised making it more suitable for long rides, poor roads and everyday use, which makes choosing the right accessories after buying the bike equally important.

Adventure panniers for the Himalayan 440, available in black and silver, are priced at Rs 29,250 and are useful on long trips. The silver and black adventure top box costs Rs 22,750. Besides this, the black adventure waterproof inner bag is priced at Rs 2,950 and the top box waterproof inner bag at Rs 2,630.

Among accessories that boost the bike's safety, the black adventure engine guard is priced at Rs 4,650, the black large engine guard at Rs 1,650 and the black compact engine guard at Rs 1,450.
