The video has been shared on two Instagram accounts, @zikiguy and @mayatherobot. The creators also showed how the robot was trained for the classical dance. The robot wears a choker necklace, shoes, and a traditional choli and ghagra, along with a wig with soft hair, and performs the classical dance in this traditional attire. People have been left amazed watching the robot dance in such a traditional style, and the video is being widely liked on social media. The robot is named Maya.
The video's caption states that this is the world's first Indian classical dance performed through a humanoid robot, though this claim has not been officially confirmed yet. According to the post, the project was developed with the collaboration of students from Masters' Union University.
