Hyundai launches Lounge Edition of Creta, Alcazar and Creta EV, prices start at Rs 19.21 lakh
Hyundai's new Lounge Edition trims add an 11.6-inch rear entertainment screen and premium interiors to the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric
Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched new "Lounge Edition" versions of the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric in the Indian market. The starting ex-showroom price for these special versions is Rs 19.21 lakh. All three models get a premium interior, a distinct exterior look and, most notably, an 11.6-inch rear seat entertainment screen. The screen supports OTT content, video, gaming, phone mirroring and several apps.
The Creta Lounge Edition is based on the "King" variant and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine comes with an IVT gearbox and starts at Rs 19.21 lakh, while the 1.5-litre CRDi diesel automatic starts at Rs 20.30 lakh. Customers must pay an additional Rs 15,000 for a dual-tone colour.
It comes with an 8-speaker Bose audio system, moonwhite ambient lighting, silver interior inserts, a distinct seat pattern and Lounge-branded rear headrest cushions. On the outside, it gets a golden bronze colour with black skid plates, side sill garnish, roof rails, ORVMs and a spoiler. The Creta also gets 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels.
The biggest change in the Alcazar Lounge Edition is that it comes with a 5-seater configuration instead of the regular multi-row seating. This version is based on the Signature variant and comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with an automatic gearbox. It is priced from Rs 21.80 lakh.
The Creta Electric Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence Long Range variant. It gets the 11.6-inch rear screen along with a dashcam and a rear wireless charger. 17-inch black arrow alloy wheels, a golden bronze colour and black exterior styling give this version a distinct look from the rest of the range. The Creta Electric Lounge Edition is priced between Rs 24.34 lakh and Rs 25.22 lakh.
