Hero MotoCorp has launched a new ABS variant of its popular Glamour X motorcycle amid growing demand for safety in the Indian two-wheeler market. The ex-showroom price in Delhi has been set at Rs 1.01 lakh. The company claims this is the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to come with a single-channel ABS along with an integrated braking system. The new variant has started selling at official dealerships across the country.

Hero has also introduced two new colour options for the bike, Gun Metal Grey and Matte Axis Grey. Besides these, Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue colours were already available. The Glamour X model was launched in August 2025 at a starting price of Rs 89,999. The addition of ABS has significantly boosted the bike's safety, which also includes features such as a panic brake alert and hazard lamps.

In terms of design, the bike retains its muscular and sporty look. All-LED lighting, an H-signature and sporty graphics give it an attractive appearance. It also gets three ride modes, Eco, Road and Power, a ride-by-wire throttle and cruise control. Dual under-seat mobile storage, a C-type USB charging port, a 790 mm seat height and a wide handlebar have been provided to make everyday riding easier.

The bike has a 4.2-inch multi-colour digital TFT display on which more than 60 functions can be viewed. It provides information such as gear shift advisory, distance-to-empty and a real-time mileage indicator. When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, riders can also use turn-by-turn navigation, ETA, call notifications and SMS alerts.

For performance, the bike is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine generates 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike also gets 18-inch alloy wheels and a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres.
