Hero launches new Glamour X with integrated ABS at Rs 1.01 lakh

Competition among companies in the 125cc segment is intense these days, and Hero MotoCorp has launched a new, more modern version of its popular Glamour X motorcycle. The new model is called the Glamour X with Integrated ABS. The company claims it is the first bike in the country in the 125cc segment to get integrated ABS technology. The starting ex-showroom price of the new bike has been set at Rs 1,01,000.

The biggest highlight of the new Glamour X is its integrated ABS safety system. The system has been developed to give the rider better stability and control while braking on different types of roads. In case of sudden braking, the technology helps improve braking performance and reduce braking distance. The bike also gets safety features such as a panic brake alert and hazard lamps. During emergency hard braking, the LED winkers flash rapidly to alert vehicles coming from behind.

On design, the new Glamour X gets a muscular and sporty look. The bike features attractive sporty graphics, while full LED lighting with an "H" signature enhances its appearance. The company has introduced two new colour options, Gun Metal Grey and Mat Axis Grey, for this bike. The existing colour options, Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue, will also remain available.

The company has also paid special attention to technology. The new Glamour X gets a 10.7 cm Adaptive Multi Colour Console offering more than 60 smart features. These include Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ETA display and call-SMS alerts. The rider also gets information such as gear shift advisory, distance-to-empty and a real-time mileage indicator.

For performance, the new Glamour X gets a Sprint EBT engine that generates 11.4 bhp at 8,250 RPM. The company has worked on keeping the engine's power delivery smooth while also reducing noise, vibration and harshness, or NVH. The rider can choose from Eco, Road and Power riding modes as per requirement. The bike also gets cruise control to keep long rides comfortable and reduce the need to constantly manage the throttle.

Combining safety, smart connectivity, sporty design and a 125cc engine, Hero MotoCorp has launched this bike with premium features. For customers considering buying a new bike in the 125cc segment, this updated version of the Glamour X could prove to be an attractive option.
