Janhvi Killekar explains real reason behind her viral Dahi Handi outburst

Janhvi Killekar, who became a household name after Bigg Boss Marathi, is often in the news for one reason or another. This time, a video of her from a Dahi Handi event went viral on social media, in which she is seen standing on stage with a microphone before suddenly appearing to lose her temper.

What happened was that while Janhvi was standing on stage, the anchor took the name of a reel star, after which talk of Janhvi getting angry began. People assumed that it was because of the reel star that Janhvi got angry. Janhvi has now revealed the truth behind the entire episode herself.

In an interview with Ultra Marathi Buzz, Janhvi said, "Honestly, this subject does not matter to me at all. But people should not draw conclusions just by reading a caption. When it is written that 'Janhvi got angry', people believe it instantly. We all get angry sometime or the other. I get angry too. But I usually do not react in public. Sometimes situations turn out such that we ourselves do not realise we have gotten angry. Otherwise people take us lightly."

Explaining exactly what happened that day, Janhvi said, "That day I had to attend another event after this one. It was an hour-and-a-half's journey. Initially, no one was saying anything on stage. Only the DJ was playing and people were just standing around. No one was even dancing. Then, being a performer, I felt someone should say something. I told the organisers to give me the mic, that I would speak."

"When I took the mic, the anchor suddenly came to his senses. He immediately announced, 'Bigg Boss fame Janhvi Killekar is with you', and right after that he also took the name of the reel star. He said the two of them were now going to talk to the audience and deliver dialogues. That is when I got angry. I mean, the mic is in my hand, I am the one about to speak, and you are taking someone else's name. One should at least keep track of whose hand the mic is in and who is going to speak," she said.

Janhvi further clarified, "I had no problem with the reel star. The problem was with the anchor's rudeness. But in the video only I was seen looking irritated, and nobody knew the reason behind it. People misunderstand."

Janhvi also spoke about how people's opinion of her has been formed after Bigg Boss. She said, "Since Bigg Boss, people think I am stubborn and that I always lose my temper. But that is not true. If I really lost my temper like that, would anyone call me for events? I have done so many events till date. People like my nature, that is why they call me. This is something people do not understand."
