A shocking case has come to light from the Ranjangaon Shenpunji area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where a young man, after making contact with a woman over the phone, entered her house at night through the back door. The matter escalated after the woman clearly refused to meet him.

According to police, the accused, Sachin Anil Rathod, 22, used to live near the complainant's house a few years ago. This is how the two knew each other. Because of this acquaintance, phone conversations and messages continued between them. At one point, the woman's father-in-law learned of this and told Sachin to leave the area.

On September 10, Sachin called the woman and expressed a desire to meet her, but she clearly refused. The complaint states that he still tried to contact her afterward. That same night, around 11 pm, there was a sound at the back door of the woman's house. When she opened the door after hearing the sound, Sachin entered the house, according to the complaint. Police are investigating how he got into the house.

After entering the house, the accused allegedly shut the bedroom door. It is alleged that he threatened to kill her husband and father-in-law if she made any noise. Frightened by this threat, the woman was raped by the accused, according to the complaint.

After the incident, the woman went to Waluj MIDC police station and filed a complaint. Based on her complaint, police have registered a case against Sachin Anil Rathod. Waluj MIDC police are further investigating the case, along with the allegations made in the complaint and other details related to the incident.
