Deool Band 2 heads to Amazon Prime Video after box office run

Pravin Tarde's film "Deool Band 2", which drew houseful crowds in theatres, will now be available on mobile. The film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video after midnight tonight. For those who could not watch it in theatres, this is a good chance to watch it at home.

"Deool Band 2" was released on May 21. Since its release, the film received a huge response not just in Maharashtra but outside the state as well. Theatres ran houseful for more than 50 days at a stretch. From the last night show to the first morning show, houseful boards were seen outside theatres. This rarely happens with a Marathi film. The film has earned over 100 crore, setting a record.

Pravin Tarde himself announced the news of the film coming to OTT in a post on Instagram. In the post, he wrote, "Our 'Deool Band 2' can now be watched on Amazon Prime. Those who haven't watched it yet should definitely watch it. And those who have watched it should watch it again, because no matter how many times you watch this film, you don't get enough of it and the tears don't stop." Tarde's post received thousands of likes and comments within a short time, with fans expressing their feelings about the film in the comments.

This is the sequel to the 2015 film "Deool Band". The second part deals with the issues and struggles of farmers and their faith in Swami Samarth. The battle between faith and superstition was portrayed in a way that resonated with audiences, drawing them to theatres. The film also has a strong cast, including Pravin Tarde himself, Mohan Joshi, Prasad Oak, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanskruti Balgude, Snehal Tarde, Mangesh Desai, Om Bhutkar, Savita Malpekar, Sunil Abhyankar and several others, all of whom have delivered strong performances.
