At first glance this may seem strange, but the thinking behind it is different.

It is important to understand here that not every trend that goes viral on social media becomes everyone's habit. Many videos are made as jokes, content or challenges. Some people do genuinely say they are adopting this trend, but that does not mean all young people are going on dates without showering. In reality this discussion is less about giving up cleanliness and more about going on a date without appearing perfect.

Relationship and behaviour experts believe honesty and ease are good things in relationships, but ignoring personal hygiene is a different matter. Experts say there is nothing wrong with being yourself, but cleanliness and good fragrance can leave a positive impression on a first date. According to them, confidence and cleanliness are closely linked, and being natural and being unclean are two different things.

Earlier, a first date used to mean new clothes, a hairstyle and hours of preparation. Now many young people are giving more importance to comfort. Loose clothes, light makeup, sneakers and a natural look have become fashionable.
