Premium electric bikes under Rs 2-3 lakh: from Ola to Royal Enfield

India's electric motorcycle market is expanding rapidly. Buyers no longer need a huge budget for an electric bike with good range, strong performance and premium features. Some good options are available in the market for around Rs 2 to 3 lakh, including bikes from companies such as Ultraviolette, Raptee.HV, Royal Enfield and Ola.

First is the Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover. It is built for daily commuting as well as long-distance rides, and comes with an integrated dashcam, multiple riding modes and modern connected features. It has an IDC range of up to 323 km and a top speed of 145 kmph. Its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 2,59,000.

Next is the Raptee.HV T30. It uses a high-voltage electric architecture, which allows it to be charged at the public DC fast chargers available for electric cars. According to the company, it has an IDC range of 200 km and a top speed of 135 kmph. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 2,39,000.

Royal Enfield's first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, stands out from the rest with its neo-retro design. With a lightweight aluminium frame, it offers a range of 154 km and a top speed of 115 kmph. With the BaaS option, its price starts at Rs 1.99 lakh. It also features dual-channel ABS as an important safety feature.

Then there are the Ola Roadster Pro and the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. The Ola Roadster Pro comes with a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, ADAS, multiple riding modes and voice control features. Its top variant has an IDC range of 579 km, and prices range from Rs 1,99,999 to Rs 2,49,999. The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 has a range of 323 km, a top speed of 155 kmph, and prices ranging from Rs 3.09 lakh to Rs 4.24 lakh. For those who like a sporty look and speed, this bike could be a good option.

Overall, buyers now have several options even within a budget of Rs 2 to 3 lakh, varying in range, features and design, which can be chosen according to different needs and preferences.
