Akshay-Saif starrer Haiwan heads to SonyLIV after theatrical run

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan's crime thriller Haiwan is drawing plenty of attention two days after its theatrical release, with the pair sharing the big screen together for the first time in about 18 years. It has been learnt that SonyLIV has bought the streaming rights to Haiwan, meaning audiences will be able to watch the film on the platform after its theatrical run.

Haiwan marks the first time Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have appeared together on screen in about 18 years, since the 2008 film Tashan. Fans had been eager to see the two share the screen again.

In Haiwan, Akshay Kumar plays a negative role, while Saif Ali Khan plays a visually impaired character. Their performances have been praised on social media, and their on-screen chemistry has also drawn a positive response from viewers.

The film's cast also includes Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and Sharib Hashmi in key roles, whose performances have kept the film in the social media conversation.
