WCL 2026: India-Pakistan clash headlines Legends league in UAE on October 10

The schedule for the third season of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), the league featuring former cricket greats, has been announced. The tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 3 to 18, with all matches held in Dubai and Sharjah. This is the first time the league is being held outside England.

Big names such as Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle, David Warner, Shahid Afridi, AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali will feature once again. Seven teams are taking part this season, with Bangladesh making its debut in the tournament. The most talked-about fixture is the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan.

The tournament begins on October 3, with two matches scheduled each day during the league stage. The first match will be between India Champions and Australia Champions, while the second will be between Pakistan Champions and Bangladesh Champions. India will take on Pakistan in Dubai on October 10, with the match starting at 9 pm Indian time.

After the league stage, the semi-finals will be played in Sharjah on October 16. The final will also be held in Sharjah on October 18, between the winners of the two semi-finals. On days with two matches, the first match will start at 5 pm and the second at 9 pm Indian time.

In the first season, India Champions beat Pakistan Champions to win the title. In the second season, South Africa Champions beat Pakistan Champions to lift the trophy. After two successful seasons in England, the league is being held in the UAE for the first time. India Champions, captained by Yuvraj Singh, will look to win the title once again.
