Vietnamese electric vehicle company VinFast is preparing to add another model to its electric two-wheeler portfolio. The company has announced the upcoming VinFast Grand Premia electric motorbike and revealed a glimpse of its design. According to the company, this is a completely new model, and will be counted as a separate addition to VinFast's current electric two-wheeler range. The company has said the bike's official launch is likely in September.

The design that has come out draws the most attention for its front fairing. The bike gets a round LED headlight cluster with daytime running lights around it, designed so the bike can be recognised even in daylight. This design gives the bike a classic and premium look. This front design looks different from several of VinFast's other electric motorcycles at present, which is notable. In other words, compared to the company's earlier models, this front fairing creates a distinct identity.

The front panel also has an eye-catching trim strip. This strip is shaped like a tyre and uses bright colours. This gives the front of the bike a distinct identity. The rear design, however, shows some resemblance to VinFast's Evo series. In other words, even though it is a completely new model, the design of the rear section is reminiscent of the company's earlier Evo series. It is being suggested that the Grand Premia, while based on the same design philosophy, is likely to be more premium.

However, VinFast has not yet announced technical details of this electric motorbike. So it is not yet clear how powerful the motor will be, what the battery capacity will be, what range it will offer, or whether it will get battery swapping. In other words, while a glimpse of the design has come out, many questions about the bike's performance remain unanswered. These questions are expected to be answered at the time of the official launch.

VinFast currently has the Evo Lite, Evo Neo and Evo Grand electric models. Besides these, the company has also brought the Feliz and Klara products to market. In other words, VinFast's portfolio already has many electric two-wheeler models available. With the arrival of the Grand Premia, another premium option will be added to VinFast's electric two-wheeler lineup.
