24 carat gold hits Rs 1,53,077 in Nagpur and other cities on September 9
Gold prices moved again on Tuesday, with 24 carat gold priced at Rs 1,53,077 per 10 grams in Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune and other cities.

Gold prices moved again as bullion markets opened on Tuesday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the 24 carat gold futures price rose 0.05 per cent, or Rs 80, to reach Rs 1,52,898 per 10 grams by evening.
On the previous trading day, gold had closed at Rs 1,52,818 per 10 grams. Separately, bullion sources put the 24 carat gold price at Rs 1,53,600 per 10 grams. In the international market, gold touched 4,439.20 dollars an ounce.
Meanwhile, according to the All India Bullion Association, the price of 99.9 per cent pure gold, including all taxes, fell by Rs 2,150 to Rs 1,58,100 per 10 grams. According to the latest figures from GoodReturns, the 24 carat gold rate stood at Rs 1,55,500 per 10 grams.
According to the IBJA, gold prices today were as follows: 24 carat gold at Rs 1,53,077 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold at Rs 1,40,219 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold at Rs 1,14,808 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold at Rs 89,550 per 10 grams.
City-wise, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Jalgaon, Sangli and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar all reported a 24 carat gold price of Rs 1,53,077 per 10 grams today.
Gaurav Garg, head of research at brokerage platform Lemon, said better than expected US jobs data has strengthened the possibility of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates in September, and this has kept gold prices under continuous pressure. He said the market is now watching this week's Producer Price Index (PPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for direction.
Investors are also closely watching key US inflation figures due later this week, since these could give a clear signal on possible changes to Federal Reserve interest rates and the future direction of the bullion market.
Saumil Gandhi, senior commodity analyst at HDFC Securities, said gold prices fell on Monday due to weak signals from foreign markets, with the international spot price staying around the 4,400 dollar level.
