Businesses linked to everyday needs tend to see steady demand in the market. Here are seven simple businesses that can be started with a starting capital of just Rs 5,000.
The first idea is making soap at home. It can be started on a very small scale from home itself, using soap base, essential oil, colour, moulds and packaging material. Small batches of soap in different designs and fragrances can be made initially and sold to people nearby, with a larger customer base built later through social media.
The second is an incense stick (agarbatti) business. Incense sticks are needed daily in almost every household, both for worship and everyday use.
