The taluka unit of the Nationalist Congress Party held a felicitation ceremony for MP Rajendra Jain at Vijaya Lakshmi Sabhagruh on Station Road in Amgaon, honouring him with a shawl and coconut. District president Premkumar Rahangdale, Rajlakshmi Turkar, former MHADA chairman Naresh Kumar Maheshwari, Suresh Harshe and Ketan Turkar were present on the occasion.

Speaking at the event, MP Rajendra Jain said that being elected as MP had increased his responsibility for the development of the region. He said that under the leadership of MP Praful Patel, the party has always stood with farmers and farm labourers and worked for their interests, and has consistently pursued bonuses and loan waivers for farmers through positive means.

Jain said continuous efforts have been made to speed up the development of Gondia-Bhandara district, and this work will continue with the same enthusiasm going forward. He said he would keep working on the development of the Amgaon area and its various issues, and would specifically try to secure halts for some trains at Amgaon railway station.

The MP further said that gram panchayat elections are due in the coming days, and every party worker should face the elections with confidence and unity. He said that to strengthen the party's organisational base, workers should expand contact with every village and understand people's problems. He assured that the Nationalist Congress Party would always stand with its workers for the all-round development of villages through the gram panchayats.

The ceremony was attended by Premkumar Rahangdale, Rajlakshmi Turkar, Kamalbapu Bahekar, Rajesh Bhaktawarti, Tikaram Mendhe, Vinod Kannamwar, Jiyalal Pandhare, Anil Sharma, Ganesh Harshe, Piyush Jha, Subhash Yawalkar, Chunnilal Sahare, Sanjay Rawat, Ravi Kshirsagar, Swapnil Kawade, Ravindra Meshram, Loknath Harinkhede, Mahendra Rahangdale, Pramod Shivankar, Giri Maharaj, Tulendra Katre and other party office-bearers, along with a large number of workers.
