Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone, the Galaxy A07s, in select global markets. The handset is available on the company's website in three colours and two RAM-storage variants.

The phone comes in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants. The 4GB+64GB variant is priced at JOD 119, about Rs 16,000, while the 4GB+128GB variant costs JOD 149, about Rs 20,000. The device is currently available for purchase on Samsung's online store in Jordan, in black, green and light violet colours.

The phone has a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display with support for up to a 90Hz refresh rate and 16.7 million colours. It carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset, with six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two performance cores that can reach a peak clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

For photography, it has a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is 50 megapixels (f/1.8) with autofocus and up to 10x digital zoom, paired with a 2 megapixel (f/2.4) rear depth sensor. The front camera is 8 megapixels (f/2.0) for selfies and video calls. The phone can record video at up to 1080p at 30fps.

The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that charges via a USB Type-C port.
