Rapty HV starts T30 electric bike deliveries in Bengaluru, claims 200 km range

Rapty HV, which makes advanced electric motorcycles in India in partnership with Electric Car DNA and HV-Tech, has started delivering its T30 model to customers. Deliveries are being made from the company's Bengaluru showroom, and the process is currently moving fast. Bengaluru is becoming one of the country's key markets for premium and electric two-wheelers, which is why the company chose to start there.

DNA and HV-Tech have been doing well in the auto sector on the strength of new technology. Together, they have launched a new kind of electric motorcycle that has been getting a good response from customers. In view of this, the company has set a target of selling more than 100 motorcycles by November. To ensure convenience for customers, the company has also opened a separate service centre in Bengaluru's HSR Layout area so buyers do not have to search for service.

Rapty HV is thus strengthening its hold on the country's electric two-wheeler market. The company claims the electric bike delivers an IDC range of 200 kilometres on a full charge, while the real-world range is about 150 kilometres. It is fitted with a 22 kW electric motor that generates a peak torque of 70 newton metres. The company is offering a three-year warranty on both the battery and the motorcycle. The bike can be charged at any car fast-charging station.

Rapty HV co-founder and CEO Dinesh Arjun said on the occasion that starting deliveries in Bengaluru is a big milestone for the company. He said the company has set a target of selling more than 100 motorcycles each in Bengaluru and Chennai.

The bike's starting ex-showroom price in the market is Rs 2.39 lakh. Its key feature is that it is India's first electric bike to support a CCS2 connector, which allows it to be charged faster.
