BSNL extends Re 1 plan with 24 days unlimited calling, 1GB data daily
BSNL has extended its Freedom 2.0 offer letting new users test its 4G network for just Re 1 with 24 days validity.
State-run telecom company BSNL has extended the last date of its Freedom 2.0 offer, under which customers can keep their SIM active for a full 24 days for just Re 1.
Under the offer, the company is giving customers a chance to test its 4G network for just Re 1, with unlimited calling, data and SMS included.
Users who buy this Re 1 plan will also get a free SIM from BSNL. The company is trying to expand its user base through this plan. However, the plan is only for new customers, existing users cannot avail of it. The Re 1 plan is also being described as the cheapest recharge in the country.
Despite the price being just Re 1, the company has not cut down on validity. The plan comes with a full 24 days of validity, and currently no other telecom company is offering such a cheap plan with this much validity.
The plan gives customers unlimited calling to all networks. They also get 100 SMS per day, amounting to a total of 2,400 SMS over the full validity period.
On data, BSNL is giving customers 1GB of high-speed 4G data per day under this plan. This means users can test the company's 4G speed for just Re 1 and decide whether to stay with BSNL or switch to another provider. Customers will get a total of 24GB data over the full validity period.
The company said on social media platform X that this offer will run till October 12, 2026. Users who want to avail of this plan can get information from their nearest BSNL office, the BSNL website and the BSNL Self Care app. The company also said users can contact the number 1800-180-1503.
