Realme launches Harry Potter Edition of its 16 Pro 5G smartphone

Tech company Realme has unveiled a special edition smartphone for Harry Potter fans. The company has announced the Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, a special edition version of its mid-range smartphone designed in collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery and the Harry Potter franchise.
The phone is a collector's variant featuring styling inspired by Hogwarts. Realme has not yet announced the price or availability of the special edition smartphone in India. However, a microsite for the phone has gone live on Flipkart, suggesting the special edition may go on sale through Flipkart as well as Realme India's website in the coming days.
Compared to the standard model, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition features significant design changes. The company has given the phone a Harry Potter-themed look with the Hogwarts crest and fine detailing linked to the franchise. Realme says the software experience also includes Harry Potter-themed elements.
This marks Realme's second collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery. The company had earlier launched the Realme 15 Pro 5G Game of Thrones Limited Edition in India in October 2025, which featured Game of Thrones-inspired styling, a 3D dragon claw camera design, the House Targaryen sigil and custom Ice and Dragonfire UI themes.
On the display front, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display supporting 1,272 x 2,772 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel offers brightness of up to 1,400 nits, a pixel density of 450ppi and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The device also supports touch sampling of up to 240Hz.
In terms of hardware, the phone is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset paired with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU. The standard model is available with 8GB and 12GB RAM options and up to 256GB of storage. The smartphone runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
The camera hardware is the same as the regular Realme 16 Pro. The phone has a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel front camera.
For battery backup, the special edition smartphone has a 7,000mAh Titan battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.
