Belfins Tigers, One Little Farm sides keep winning run alive in Pune badminton league

Several teams kept their winning run intact in the league round matches of the 12th PYC-TruSpace Karandak badminton league, being held at the badminton courts of PYC Hindu Gymkhana Club in Pune. Teams including Nadgonde Ravens, Belfins Tigers, One Little Farm Sunbirds and Falcon Optima defeated their respective opponents to move forward in this round.

In Group B of the league round of the senior group, Belfins Tigers beat Hawks 5-2 to register their third win of the tournament. Ishan Lagu, Nikhil Chitale, Tanmay Chobhe, Neha Lagu, Bal Kulkarni, Parikshit Deval, Karna Mehta, Yash Mehendale, Abhishek Tamhane and Tanish Belgalkar put up a strong show for the winning side.

In another match in the same group, Falcon Optima beat Jog Comets 4-3 after a tough contest. Sarang Athavale, Aniruddha Apte, Sumit Nerkar, Varun Nivargi, Neeraj Dandekar, Anvit Rajwade, Varad Chitale and Preeti Phadke put up a good performance for the winning team.

In Group A, One Little Farm Sunbirds beat Seinumero Rockets 4-3 to secure their second win. Sudhanshu Medsikar, Shreyas Bhamre, Makarand Chitale, Anil Dedge, Devendra Chitale, Rajesh Parekh, Deven Shewale and Himanshu Thorat played impressively for the team.

In another match, Nadgonde Ravens defeated Aerial Swifts 5-2 to register their fourth win of the tournament. In the senior group, Belfins Tigers and Nadgonde Ravens thus continued their winning streaks, with Nadgonde Ravens recording their third win and Belfins Tigers their second.

In another Group A match, Seinumero Rockets beat Imperial Swans 5-2 to register their first win of the tournament. Aniket Sahastrabuddhe, Varun Sahu, Deepti Sardesai, Sameer Jalan, Neelesh Kelkar, Hemant Palande, Kshitij Kotwal, Vedant Khatod, Sanskriti Joshi and Soham Joshi played key roles in the win.
