Video shows Pakistani soldiers brawling over water tanker in South Waziristan

Amid Pakistan's grain shortage, a severe water crisis has now come to light in the country. A video shared on social media shows Pakistani army personnel clashing with each other over water. The incident is claimed to have occurred in the Upper South Waziristan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An argument reportedly broke out among Pakistani soldiers over a water tanker, which quickly turned into a violent brawl. The situation deteriorated to the point where personnel from the SSG (Special Services Group), the Frontier Corps (FC) and the intelligence wing began fighting each other. According to reports, a total of 22 personnel were injured in the clash. The incident is currently being widely discussed, and the video is spreading rapidly on social media.

In the viral video, several soldiers can be seen attacking one another and trading punches and kicks. The number of soldiers seen in the video and the intensity of the fighting give an indication of how serious the matter must have been. However, there has been no official confirmation of the incident so far.

Soldiers in the Asman Manza area are reportedly grappling with an acute water shortage, and water is delivered there daily by tanker. During one such delivery, an argument first broke out between some SSG and intelligence personnel, which then escalated to the point where the soldiers began beating each other. The dispute and the fighting over water among the soldiers reportedly continued for a considerable time.

A tweet referring to the incident said that at the Asman Manza military brigade in Upper South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, SSG commandos, army personnel, FC and FIU personnel clashed with each other over a water shortage.

The South Waziristan area has long faced a water shortage, with around 60 percent of residents there dependent on tanker water. Disputes often arise when a limited quantity of water arrives by tanker, and something similar appears to have happened in this case. Many people have reacted to the footage of soldiers fighting over water. One user wrote that it was truly a bad thing for soldiers to come to blows over water. Another wrote that it was unfortunate that the very soldiers meant to protect the country were seen fighting over water. Another user wrote that Pakistan had truly become a beggar nation.
