There is good news for passengers at Nagpur's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport. Three extra commercial flights are set to land and take off here on September 17 and 18. Their movement will run from the evening of September 17 to the early hours of September 18, meaning a total of three extra flights will enter and exit the airport over the two days.

Air India Express released the full schedule on Tuesday. According to it, two of the three flights will arrive in Nagpur, and one flight will depart from Nagpur for Bengaluru. That is, two flights will land at Nagpur airport and one will take off from there.

The flight from Nagpur to Bengaluru is numbered IX 5704. It will take off from Nagpur airport for Bengaluru at 1.15 am on September 18. This makes it one of the earliest departures from Nagpur after midnight.

Before that, on September 17, the first extra flight, IX 5701, will arrive in Nagpur from Bengaluru. This flight will land at Nagpur airport at 6.10 pm. Later the same day, the second extra flight, IX 5703, will reach Nagpur airport from Kochi at 10.45 pm. That is, two flights from different cities will land at Nagpur airport on the same evening.

So, as per the current schedule, a total of three extra commercial flights have been planned at Nagpur airport on September 17 and 18, including flights arriving from Bengaluru and Kochi as well as the flight departing for Bengaluru.

Air India Express had earlier scheduled an extra flight from Nagpur to Bengaluru on Tuesday as well. However, the airline's IX 5708 flight from Nagpur to Bengaluru was cancelled on Tuesday, causing trouble for passengers.

On the same day, an IndiGo flight from Nagpur to Hyderabad also departed considerably late, leaving passengers to face a long wait and inconvenience at the airport.

In view of this, passengers travelling on these extra flights on September 17 and 18 have been advised to check the latest flight status with the airline before leaving for the airport, to avoid any inconvenience.
