The districts under the yellow alert include Raigad, Ratnagiri, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, the Nashik ghat area, Ahilyanagar, Pune, the Pune ghat area, Satara, the Satara ghat area, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Hingoli, Nanded and Latur, covering many areas from Konkan to Marathwada.
As per the region-wise forecast for September 19, rain is likely at some places in Konkan and at isolated places in central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha, meaning all four regions of the state could see rain in varying degrees that day.
On September 20, rain is expected at many places in Konkan. Central Maharashtra and Marathwada will see rain at some places, with thunder, lightning and gusty winds likely at isolated spots. Some rain is forecast in Vidarbha as well, with Konkan expected to see the heaviest rain that day.
On September 21, rain is expected at many places in Konkan as well as central Maharashtra. Isolated parts of central Maharashtra could see heavy rain with thunder and gusty winds. Marathwada will see rain at some places, with thunder, lightning and gusty winds at isolated spots, while some rain is also forecast in Vidarbha.
