Yellow alert for rain in 11 Maharashtra districts today
The weather department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain and gusty winds in 11 districts across Maharashtra on September 11.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, Latur and Dharashiv could also see light to moderate rain, with heavy rain in some places. Most of Marathwada is expected to remain rainy tomorrow as well.
In North Maharashtra, a yellow alert has been issued for the ghat areas of Nashik, where winds of 30 to 40 kmph and heavy rain in some places are expected. Nashik, Jalgaon, Nandurbar and Dhule districts are expected to see light to moderate rain with thunder and drizzle. This weather is likely to continue for the next two days.
Light rain is currently falling in some parts of Konkan, but there is no alert there for September 11. The weather is expected to change from tomorrow, with winds of 30 to 40 kmph. A yellow alert is likely to remain in place in most areas for the next two days, which could bring relief to people and farmers who have been waiting for rain.
