Kia offers discounts up to Rs 1.70 lakh on cars in September, Carnival benefits most

September could be a good month for those planning to buy a new car. Kia India has announced a range of discounts and benefits on its MY2026 models, including exchange bonuses, scrappage incentives, loyalty benefits and corporate discounts. The biggest benefit is on the Kia Carnival, where customers can get a total discount of up to Rs 1.70 lakh.

The discount on the Carnival comes in separate parts: an exchange bonus of Rs 1 lakh, a scrappage incentive of Rs 20,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 50,000. The company is soon expected to launch a hybrid version of this car, which could make the offer on the current model attractive for buyers.

The petrol-diesel (ICE) version of the Kia Clavis gets a total benefit of up to Rs 95,000, which includes a straight cash discount of Rs 10,000 along with exchange, loyalty, scrappage and corporate benefits. The electric (EV) version of the Clavis gets benefits of up to Rs 75,000, though there is no direct cash discount on this electric model.

The Kia Sonet's Kappa 1.2 HTK(O) variant gets the highest benefit of up to Rs 65,000, while other Sonet variants get discounts of up to Rs 50,000. The ICE variant of the Kia Syros gets a benefit of Rs 55,000 and its EV variant gets up to Rs 20,000. Benefits of up to Rs 40,000 each have been announced on the new Kia Seltos and Kia Sorento.

All variants of the Kia Carens except the CNG version get benefits of up to Rs 45,000, while the CNG model gets a scrappage benefit of up to Rs 20,000. It is important to note that all these offers can vary depending on customer eligibility, the car variant and the dealer. Buyers are advised to contact their nearest Kia dealer before purchase to confirm the final offer and its availability.
