Kawasaki launches new Eliminator 500 SE in black avatar, check features

Kawasaki has launched its retro cruiser bike Eliminator 500 SE in a new look. The 2027 model gets a matte black finish, making the bike more attractive than before. This bike is one of the models designed keeping beginner cruiser riders in mind. Along with the new colour scheme, the company has also added some essential features to the SE variant.

The 2027 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 SE is offered in a Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Flat Ebony finish. A Candy Emerald Green colour option is also available. Compared to the base model, the SE variant gets a compact headlight cowl, front fork boots and a USB-C charging port on the handlebar. This gives the bike modern conveniences along with its retro look.

The Eliminator 500 SE comes with a 451 cc parallel-twin engine. The company claims this engine generates 45 hp of power and 31.7 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an assist-and-slip clutch, which makes gear shifting smoother than before. The bike's engine design is reported to be linked to the Ninja 400 platform.

The bike retains a retro round headlamp, round mirrors and a classic cruiser silhouette. The digital LCD instrument panel includes a tachometer, gear-position indicator and smartphone connectivity. It also gets features such as ABS and the Ergo-Fit system. The seat height is set at 28.9 inches, making the bike easier to handle for shorter riders. A pillion seat is also standard.

Sales of the 2027 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 SE will begin in Europe from January 2027, where its starting price is set at GBP 6,599. There is no official information yet on the bike's availability, price or colour options in the United States or other markets. It is therefore not certain at this stage whether the bike will come to India.
