Youth abducted, assaulted by criminals in Nagpur over alleged bike collision
A youth was abducted and beaten by four men in Nagpur's Bhilgaon area after a dispute over a bike cutting across another rider; two of the accused have been arrested.
Criminals abducted and injured a young man in the Bhilgaon area of Kalamna in Nagpur after accusing him of cutting across their path. The injured man, Shaikh Naushad Shaikh Nasool, was walking home with two friends on Thursday night when four youths on two bikes passed by. They began arguing with Naushad over his bike cutting across theirs.
Seeing their attitude, Naushad tried to move ahead, but the accused stopped him. They showed a knife, abused him and began beating him, and threatened to kill him. Seeing this, Naushad's friends fled. The accused forcibly put Naushad on a bike and took him away.
Naushad informed the police. Kalamna police registered a case of abduction and assault and began an investigation. They arrested Kalash Sumesh alias Bandu Nandeshwar and Mohammad Akhil alias Ballam Ansari. Their associates Raza alias Majid Ansari and Maisar Jamal Sagir are absconding. Both are said to be professional criminals.
