According to police, Naposi Amol Nagre of the NDPS unit received a tip-off that a person was bringing ganja from Odisha to supply in the Kanhan area. Acting on this information, police immediately stepped up surveillance in the area and began watching suspicious movements.

Based on the tip-off, police took action and caught three suspects. During questioning and searches, 9 kg of ganja was recovered from them, which police valued at around Rs 1,80,000.

The arrested accused have been identified as Suraj Rajendra Chavan (30, resident of Dighoda, Uttar Pradesh), Himanshu Nandlal Sharma (26, resident of Dighoda, Uttar Pradesh) and Shubham Kapildev Shahi (32, resident of Kanhan).
