Apple opens iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max pre-bookings in India

Apple has opened pre-bookings for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in India from September 12, though the phones will only be delivered from September 18.
This week Apple also launched its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, alongside the Pro models. However, only the Pro models can currently be booked; buyers wanting the foldable Duo will have to wait until October. This time Apple has expanded storage options, with up to 2TB now available. The company is also offering bank cashback deals and an installment option. Those not opting for installments must pay the full amount at the time of booking.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900 and the Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900. Both phones come in four storage options: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. The 2TB option is best suited for those who store a lot of photos and videos. The phones are available in four colours: black, silver, glacier and burgundy. The burgundy shade is new and has proved popular. Bookings opened at 5:30 pm and can be made through Apple's website or its stores.
Apple has also offered attractive deals on bookings this time. Instant cashback is available on American Express, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards. For those opting for installments, a no-cost EMI option is also available. The monthly installment for the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 26,316, and for the Pro Max at Rs 28,817. Cashback is available on these installment plans as well.
Those with an older iPhone can also trade it in. An iPhone 13 or any later model can fetch a discount ranging from Rs 21,000 to Rs 81,500, depending on the phone's condition.
Prices for each model are as follows. iPhone 18 Pro: 256GB at Rs 1,64,900, 512GB at Rs 1,89,900, 1TB at Rs 2,39,900 and 2TB at Rs 3,14,900. iPhone 18 Pro Max: 256GB at Rs 1,79,900, 512GB at Rs 2,04,900, 1TB at Rs 2,54,900 and 2TB at Rs 3,29,900. The price of the 2TB variant has left many surprised.
The 2TB Pro Max model costs Rs 3,29,900, close to three and a half lakh rupees. Those planning to buy have been advised to be ready at 5:30 pm, as stock is expected to run out on the very first day.
