IND vs AFG first T20: toss and match timing pushed back by 30 minutes
The toss and start time for the first India-Afghanistan T20 in Delhi have both been delayed by half an hour

The first of a three-match T20 series between India and Afghanistan is being played today, September 13, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Afghanistan are the hosts for this series, while the Indian team will play as the visiting side. Both teams will look to start the three-match series with a win.
A major update on timing has come in ahead of the match. It had earlier been decided that the match would start at 7:00 pm, but this has now been pushed back by half an hour. The India-Afghanistan T20 match will now start at 7:30 pm. The toss timing has been changed accordingly. The two captains were earlier set to come out for the toss at 6:30 pm, but the toss will now take place at 7:00 pm.
The second match of the series will be played on September 15, and the third and final match on September 17. All three matches will be held in Delhi, even though Afghanistan are the hosts of the series.
The series is also significant for the Indian team, as this is Team India's first T20 series at home under Shreyas Iyer's captaincy after the IPL. The Indian team had earlier lost series against Ireland and England, but went on to put in a good performance on the tour of Zimbabwe under Shreyas Iyer's leadership. Team India will now look to maintain this form.
