Hyundai reveals first design sketches of new Bayon SUV

Hyundai Motor India Limited has officially unveiled the first design sketches of its upcoming vehicle, the Bayon, which the company is calling an Intelligent Utility Vehicle. The company had announced the new model's name only a few days earlier. The newly released sketches offer an early look at the vehicle's exterior and interior design. The Bayon is being developed as a global production model, built specifically with urban use in mind.

The Bayon clearly reflects Hyundai's evolving "Art of Steel" design philosophy. Its shape, defined character lines and strong body proportions give it a sporty, modern look. At the front, it features a raised, curved bonnet, pronounced fenders and distinctive H-Edge lighting. Strong lower body elements further accentuate the vehicle's SUV stance.

The interior sketches shared by the company offer a glimpse of a modern, technology-focused cabin. Hyundai says the Bayon's cabin emphasises advanced technology, connectivity and an easy-to-use interface, which is expected to deliver both comfort and a digital experience for daily urban commutes. However, the company has not yet released a full list of the vehicle's features.

The Bayon has been conceived for customers who want a compact, practical vehicle for everyday city use while still wanting a strong SUV-like look. Pronounced fenders, a strong stance and modern lighting aim to give the vehicle a distinct identity. Hyundai is expected to release further technical details and launch information about the model in the future.
