Crane driver threatens government employee, tries to attack him in Bhosari
A crane driver barged into MIDC Bhosari's T Block without permission, threatened an employee and tried to attack him; police have booked him and two unidentified associates.
A crane driver has been booked for obstructing government work and threatening an employee at MIDC Bhosari's T Block in Pimpri. The driver entered the premises without permission, shouted loudly and also tried to attack the employee.
Durgeshkumar Rohtilal Vishwakarma, 31, an employee, has filed a complaint at the MIDC Bhosari police station. Durgeshkumar lives on rent in a room belonging to Sarika Shingote, with his address given as Plot No. T/19, Roshan Garden, Lane No. 3, Mahadevnagar, Chakramani Vasahat, Bhosari. Police have registered a case against the driver of crane number MH 14 JA 5905 and two unidentified persons who accompanied him.
The incident took place around 5:30 pm on 8 September 2026. On the road leading towards Philips Chowk, about 100 metres from Hindustan Pressing Pvt. Ltd. company in T Block, MIDC Bhosari, the accused and his two unidentified associates entered without the complainant's permission. The accused threw his weight around and told the complainant, "Who are you to tell me anything? No one decides who comes in here. Who are you to decide that?" He further threatened, "Call the police, call the military, call their father too. I will not move from here. I will deal with you, meet me outside."
Following this argument, the accused also tried to attack the complainant and obstructed government work by shouting loudly. Based on the complaint filed at the police station, a case has been registered against the crane driver and the two unidentified persons who accompanied him. Police are investigating the matter further.
The incident occurred during the day while government employees in the area were carrying out their routine work. The complainant went to the police station immediately after the incident and reported the entire matter, following which police began the necessary action. Police are further investigating to identify the crane and the two unidentified persons who were with the accused, so that the full sequence of the incident can be established.
