Uday Samant slams Dhule Shiv Sena factionalism, warns of last chance
Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant reprimanded Dhule office-bearers over internal factionalism, warning this was their final chance to fall in line.
Internal factionalism within the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) in Dhule has surfaced once again, prompting industries minister and Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant to sharply reprimand local office-bearers. Samant said that before worrying about what the allied party is doing, members should focus on what is happening within their own party. He also issued a direct warning that this was the last chance.
Speaking in Dhule, Uday Samant gave local office-bearers a stern talking-to. He said they should give up factionalism, strengthen the organisation, and not let workers get caught up in internal politics.
Samant said that in this Shiv Sena stronghold, the party today has just one legislator, and the party itself keeps handing opportunities to others. He gave an example, saying that in Nandurbar two thousand office-bearers gather, but in Dhule even fifty workers could not be mustered. "Are we betraying Saheb?" he asked, saying office-bearers needed to introspect. Samant also said that the highest number of complaints related to the party in Maharashtra were coming from Dhule itself.
Uday Samant went on to warn, "Do good work, this is your last chance. Otherwise a new experiment will be tried in Dhule and a new team will be set up."
He also expressed hope that the Shiv Sena should have four members on the DPC, and that the post of leader of the opposition should also remain with the Shiv Sena. He advised Manoj More and Satish Mahale to come together and work for the organisation.
Samant also impressed upon office-bearers the importance of workers. He said it is because of the workers that they exist, so they should get photographs taken of workers with Saheb. According to him, the hall being full of Shiv Sainiks would truly show the party's strength.
He also made clear that their existence was because of Eknath Shinde, and so workers should not be entangled in internal politics. All eyes are now on what stance senior party leaders take on this internal dispute within the Dhule Shiv Sena (Shinde faction).
