Kawasaki India has launched the 2027 Versys 1100 adventure tourer at an ex-showroom price of Rs 13.89 lakh
Kawasaki India has launched its popular adventure touring motorcycle, the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100, in India. The bike's ex-showroom price has been set at Rs 13.89 lakh. Notably, compared to last year's model, the new version sees no major changes in price, design, features or engine. The motorcycle will be available in a single, fully-loaded 'Standard' variant, and can be bought in Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray and Metallic Diablo Black colours.
The Versys 1100 gets a robust design built for long-distance riding. It comes with twin LED headlamps, compact LED indicators, an adjustable windscreen, wide shrouds and a split seat. The bike has a large 21-litre fuel tank, reducing the need for frequent refuelling on long trips. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres.
The bike is also well-equipped in terms of features. It gets all-LED lighting along with electronic cruise control, a USB Type-C charging port, cornering ABS, traction control, multiple power modes and engine braking control. It also comes with an assist and slipper clutch and an economical riding indicator. This makes the bike convenient for both city riding and highway touring.
On the engine front, the Kawasaki Versys 1100 gets a 1,099cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine generates 133 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has a dry weight of 235 kg, a ground clearance of 150 mm and a seat height of 820 mm. In terms of suspension, it gets 43 mm telescopic front forks and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear.
In the Indian market, the Versys 1100 competes directly with premium adventure motorcycles such as the Triumph Tiger 900 GT and the BMW F900 GS. Meanwhile, discounts and other benefits are available on some of Kawasaki's non-E20 models until September 30, 2026.
