PM Modi's birthday draws wishes from cricketers and athletes
Top athletes and cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, P. T. Usha and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, wished PM Narendra Modi on his birthday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his birthday, and wishes have poured in from across the country. Alongside "Seva Sankalp", the BJP has organised various programmes nationwide to mark his birthday. Several top names from the sporting world also joined in, sending Modi warm birthday greetings on social media.
Indian Olympic Association president and former Indian athletics great P. T. Usha shared a special photo with PM Modi on X while wishing him. In her post, she wrote, "Heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday. I pray to God to give him better health, a long life and the immense strength to take the country forward on the path of peace, prosperity and progress."
Former Indian cricketer and current national team head coach Gautam Gambhir also wished Modi on X. Gambhir wrote, "Heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi! May God grant you better health and a long life. My prayer is that you continue to guide India towards a brighter, stronger and more prosperous future."
Legendary former Indian batter and Bharat Ratna recipient Sachin Tendulkar also wished PM Modi a happy birthday on social media in his own style. Tendulkar shared his greeting from his official X handle, saying the Prime Minister's dedication and hard work for the nation deserved praise. He wrote, "Many congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. Your tireless work for the country continues to inspire all of us. I wish you a long life, good health and happiness as you take India to new heights."
Vaibhav Suryavanshi also extended birthday wishes to PM Modi. In his post, Suryavanshi wrote, "Heartfelt birthday wishes to the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji! I pray for your better health, lasting happiness and many more successful years dedicated to the country and public service."
