Pulse Candy launches Ganeshotsav digital offering campaign in Maharashtra
DS Group's Pulse Candy marks its fifth straight year of Ganeshotsav activity with an interactive digital offering experience for devotees.
Pulse Candy, a popular brand of Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), has begun celebrating Ganeshotsav in Maharashtra for the fifth consecutive year. The initiative is part of the brand's larger concept, "Desh Ki Pulse Se Bana Ganpati Tyohar", which continues this year with the festival celebrations.
Over the past few years, Pulse Candy has added something new each year to its campaign, keeping the collective spirit, tradition and devotion associated with Ganpati celebrations across Maharashtra at its core. Alongside creating new experiences to boost customer participation, the brand has maintained its connection with the core sentiment of the festival. The campaign will run from September 14 to September 23, 2026, across major Maharashtra markets including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Jalgaon.
Under this larger concept, a campaign called "Pulse Se Arpan, Bappa Ko Samarpan" has been launched, through which the company is carrying forward its tradition of offering new kinds of experiences. Through this campaign, devotees will get the opportunity to make a digital offering to Bappa through an interactive, mouse-themed experience. By combining the traditional spirit of devotion with modern technology and customer participation, the initiative gives a new form to traditional devotion. Since large numbers of devotees visit, not every devotee often gets the chance to make an offering to Bappa in their own way. Keeping this in mind, the campaign uses technology to offer devotees a personalised digital offering facility.
When a devotee prepares their offering, a bell rings and mice, considered the vehicle of Lord Ganesha, appear in various attractive forms and carry the devotee's chosen offering to Bappa. At the end of this process, a confirmation of the completed offering is shown on screen, making it a memorable and personal experience for devotees. One more element has been added to this experience: participating customers will be given a packet of Pulse Candy and a branded, seed paper card as a symbolic blessing.
Customers who participate via WhatsApp will also receive a personalised Ganpati greeting message, adding to the digital experience. Customers can also take part through the digital offering experience available on the campaign's micro site, meaning they can join the campaign from anywhere.
Speaking about the campaign, Ashish Bhargava, Senior General Manager, Marketing, Confectionery Division, DS Group, said, "Ganesh Mahotsav is an extremely important festival for Maharashtra. At DS Group, we understand from the heart the sentiment, devotion and cultural significance behind this festival. Being associated with Lalbaugcha Raja for a fifth consecutive year is a matter of pride for the brand, and it reflects our ongoing effort to build a stronger relationship with customers."
Bhargava further said that such cultural occasions give Pulse Candy the opportunity to bring its "Plus of India" concept to life. He described the platform as a way of celebrating the different sentiments, traditions and expressions that make India special, from festivals and regional traditions to everyday moments that bring people together. This year, through the "Pulse Se Arpan, Bappa Ko Samarpan" campaign, the company is taking this thinking forward, giving the old tradition of offering a new form through technology and creating a personal, participatory experience for devotees.
