OnePlus is preparing to launch its new smartphone, the N6 Lite, under the "Powerfully Big" concept, with the launch date set for September 22. The company says the phone offers a long-lasting battery, a better viewing experience, smooth performance and reliable durability for everyday use.

At the centre of the "Powerfully Big" concept is the phone's large 7,000mAh battery, which the company says can last up to three days on a single charge, allowing users to watch films or scroll social media for hours. OnePlus says the battery retains more than 80 percent health even after six years, following testing across 1,600 charge cycles. The phone also supports reverse wired charging, letting users use the smartphone as a power bank without needing to carry a separate one.

On the display front, the OnePlus N6 Lite features a 6.75-inch HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, making interactions more responsive. The display also supports Aqua Touch, a feature previously available only on costlier OnePlus phones, which keeps touch responsiveness intact even when the screen has water, moisture or oil on it.

On durability, the OnePlus N6 Lite has passed MIL-STD-810H testing, meaning it should withstand everyday bumps and knocks without much impact. It has rounded edges, weighs just 215 grams, and will be available in two colour options.

The phone also comes with 36 months of Fluency Protection, which the company says will keep performance smooth over the long term. It also includes AI tools such as AI Clear Face and AI Eraser, which let users prepare photos for social media.

However, the smartphone supports only 4G connectivity. Several brands have been adopting this connectivity choice amid rising memory costs and price pressure. Despite this, the N6 Lite focuses on long battery life, smooth viewing and durability, which could make it a good option for customers looking for a budget smartphone.
