Mivi, a brand known for audio products, has stepped into the smartphone segment. The company has confirmed that its first smartphone, the Mivi One 5G, will launch in India next week on September 24. The phone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart, where a dedicated landing page has already gone live.

Ahead of the launch, the company shared teasers on the social media platform X hinting at the phone's key features. According to these teasers, the Mivi One 5G will have a dual rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The company has not yet revealed details of the secondary sensor.

On the processor, it has been confirmed that the phone will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset, though the company has not specified which Snapdragon processor will be used. The Mivi One 5G will be available in burgundy, blue and green colour options and will run on the Android 16 operating system. There has been no official price announcement yet, but the phone is expected to launch at around Rs 15,000.

Alongside the phone, the company has announced a dedicated post-purchase customer service program called Mivi Care+. Under this package, customers will get one year of free standard warranty. The company claims the phone will be serviced at more than 500 authorised service centres across India. It has also promised a seven-day replacement policy, meaning the phone can be replaced within seven days if any issue is found.

A dedicated mobile application, also called Mivi Care+, will let customers digitally track their phone's service status from home. The company has also claimed that free doorstep pickup and return delivery for the Mivi One 5G will be available in more than 19,000 pin codes, meaning customers will not need to visit a service centre to send the phone for repair.

Until now, Mivi was known only for earphones, soundbars and other audio products, and had not entered the smartphone space. The Mivi One 5G marks the company's first entry into smartphones.
