Royal Enfield's new 750cc bike spotted testing again, fairing and dual disc brakes in focus

Royal Enfield is preparing to expand its premium motorcycle portfolio further. As part of this, the company's new 750cc sporty bike has been spotted testing again in Chennai. The bike is currently being talked about as the Continental GTR 750, though the company has not yet confirmed its actual name. Going by the test mule, the bike appears to be quite close to the production stage.

On design, the new bike will look different from the existing Continental GT 650. A fairing around the round headlamp, clip-on handlebars and bar-end mirrors could give it a more aggressive cafe racer look. The fairing will also reduce wind pressure at high speed, making riding somewhat easier. The test model was also seen with alloy wheels and a black-finished engine and exhaust.

The biggest change in this bike could be in the engine. Royal Enfield's new 750cc parallel-twin engine is expected to produce around 50 to 55 bhp of power and more than 60 Nm of torque. The engine could come with a 6-speed gearbox. However, the company has not yet released official power and torque figures.

Given the 750cc capacity, the bike's braking system is also being upgraded. Dual disc brakes are clearly visible at the front of the test bike. It is also likely to get dual-channel ABS, tubeless tyres and alloy wheels. The bike may also feature all-LED lighting, a slipper clutch and a twin-pod instrument cluster with Tripper navigation.

Royal Enfield has not yet given any official information on price and launch. It could be launched by the end of 2026 or early 2027. Its estimated ex-showroom price could be between Rs 3.8 lakh and Rs 3.9 lakh. Compared to the Continental GT 650, this bike could enter the market as a more premium and powerful option.
