Raigad MLA Mahendra Dalvi unhappy over Gogawale's Ganpati visit to Tatkare's home
Shiv Sena MLA Mahendra Dalvi says guardian minister Bharat Gogawale should not have visited Sunil Tatkare's home for Ganpati darshan.
Talk of differences between the Tatkare and Gogawale camps in Raigad politics has resurfaced. Raigad guardian minister Bharat Gogawale visited MP Sunil Tatkare's home for Ganpati darshan. Shiv Sena MLA Mahendra Dalvi has openly expressed displeasure over the visit. The political tussle between Tatkare and Gogawale in Raigad has been a recurring talking point in recent times.
Mahendra Dalvi said clearly that there was nothing wrong in Bharat Gogawale going to Tatkare's home for Ganpati darshan, but given the current political situation in Raigad, he should not have gone. Dalvi asked whether Sunil Tatkare would ever go to Bharat Gogawale's home for Ganpati darshan. He also clarified that his displeasure was not with the Nationalist Congress Party but directly with Sunil Tatkare.
Dalvi then made sharp allegations against the Tatkare family. He raised questions over various projects carried out in Raigad over the last 20 years and the use of funds allocated for them. Dalvi claimed that some projects remain incomplete even now and that funds were repeatedly given for the same work. He also referred to certain statements by union minister Nitin Gadkari, saying Tatkare was being held responsible for that situation as well. These are all allegations made by Dalvi and have not been separately verified.
Dalvi also made a political comment on the guardian minister post. He said the Tatkare family had no role in Bharat Gogawale getting the post of guardian minister of Raigad. According to him, the post came to Gogawale through Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar. Dalvi also referred to Aniket Tatkare's election to the Legislative Council and Bharat Gogawale's guardian minister post, targeting the Tatkare family over these political equations.
Bharat Gogawale's Ganpati visit to Tatkare's home has become a talking point over the relationship between the two leaders. The two camps have differed over the guardian minister post before as well. Even after Gogawale's appointment as guardian minister, the ongoing local-level political differences between the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party in Raigad have not fully ended, as this recent episode shows.
