Maha aarti held at Mumbai's Banganga on PM Modi's birthday

A maha aarti was held at the historic Banganga tank in Mumbai's Malabar Hill area to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Maharashtra cabinet minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha was prominently present at the event. The area was filled with a devotional atmosphere, and devotees present prayed for PM Modi's health and long life during the aarti.

Those who attended the event also prayed that PM Modi continue his work of serving the nation and gain more strength for it. The event was organised specially for the birthday and was attended by local residents as well as party workers.

Speaking on the occasion, minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha said, "On the birthday of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, a maha aarti was performed at Banganga to pray for his good health and long life. Under PM Modiji's leadership, India is progressing in various fields of development. Today, a prayer was offered at this sacred place so that the nation's resolve for development and the spirit of public service grow even stronger."

Lodha further said, "In our culture, religious devotion and service to the nation are given special importance. On such an auspicious occasion, praying for the country's progress and the wellbeing of every citizen is our collective sentiment."

A devotional atmosphere prevailed at the Banganga premises during the maha aarti. Devotees present wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and also prayed for the country's peace, prosperity and progress. Local corporators, citizens, party workers and devotees took part in the event. On the occasion of the birthday, PM Modi's birthday was celebrated with enthusiasm at several places across the country.

At present, there is also a Ganpati festival atmosphere all around, and south Mumbai's Banganga area is known as a special religious site. During this time, the area takes on a different look altogether. This land has a historic heritage, with several temples here, and its sanctity has been preserved to this day. It was for this reason that the maha aarti held at Banganga received special significance.
