IGNOU to hold mega campus placement drive on September 17-18
Axis Bank, Samsung and other firms to hire across sectors at IGNOU's two-day placement drive in Delhi
Current and former students of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) have a good chance to land a job. The university's campus placement cell is organising a two-day mega campus placement drive on September 17 and 18, 2026. The event will be held at IGNOU's B.R. Ambedkar Convention Centre, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. Candidates have to report from 10 am.
The placement drive is being jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Axis Bank Sales Academy (ASA). It will offer job opportunities in sectors including banking, e-commerce, healthcare, fintech, logistics, manufacturing and human resources (HR).
Several well-known companies are taking part in the service sector job drive on September 17 and 18. These include Axis Bank, Samsung, iEnergizer, Cogent E Services, Tata Play Fiber, Ather and 1Point1 Solutions. These companies will hire for customer support, sales, banking voice process, pre-sales and other positions.
A key feature of the drive is a special recruitment campaign by the Axis Bank Sales Academy on September 17, under which more than 200 posts for Officer Sales (OS1) are vacant.
The drive is open to both current and former IGNOU students. Candidates need good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
Interested candidates must first register online. While attending the placement drive, candidates must carry their updated resume or CV, a government identity card, a passport-size photograph and copies of education and experience certificates.
IGNOU's mega placement drive is especially important for current and former students looking to begin their careers alongside their studies or in search of a good job. Companies from different sectors will be present at one venue, giving candidates several job options at a single location.
